Funny little screens show you were you are, show you how far away from civilization you are, show you how long it would take to get a rescue mission to your current position (in case of a crash), show you how little of this earth is really populated - but they also help you to shorten the 11 hours it took to get from San Francisco to Shanghai - nonstop!
It's early afternoon local time and we have about an hour more before we touchdown in Shanghai. Candice is still sleeping right next to me and I just hope there is another movie on to kill the last leg of the trip.
This is our second trip to China together. And I'm more excited than last time, because I brought all my camera gear.
